15W Dimmable Spiral CFL (Compact Fluorescent Light) Bulb - 60W Equivalent

Overdrive has now introduced a lower cost higher efficiency spiral dimmable bulb that replaces standard incandescent bulbs. These bulbs produce a light output of 900 lumens with an actual power draw of only 15 Watts. The lamp can last up to nine years based on normal household usage of 3 hours a day and each hour that they operate they save 75% of the energy draw of a conventional bulb. The manufacturers demonstrates their confidence in the bulb by offering a 2 year unconditional warrantee.

The Overdrive 15 Watt Dimmable CFL can be installed in dimmable ceiling fixtures or free standing decorative lamps. The bulbs operate indoors or outdoors when protected from the elements since the operating temperature range is from - 6 degrees Fahrenheit to 120 degrees Fahrenheit They also work with almost all dimming controllers manufactured after January 1, 1990.

Features and Specifications:

Fits almost all fixtures:
- Spiral bulb measures 2 1/2” in diameter and 5 3/4” tall end to end. Clearance from the top of the base to the top of the bulb is approximately 4 3/4”. The ballast is 2 ¼” in diameter.
Light output:
- Spiral 15 watt bulb produces 900 lumens equivalent to a 60 watt incandescent bulb.
Energy savings:
- Spiral 23 watt bulb saves $54 in energy costs over the life of the bulb.
Rated for 10000 hours of operating life - triple that of a comparable incandescent.
IC (Integrated Circuit) controlled smooth dimming works with regular household dimmers.
